Attorney Profile

My practice is focused on helping individuals with their Social Security Disability claims.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas, and my law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston, where I worked full time during the day while attending night law school. After becoming licensed in 1976 I was trained by, and worked for the Social Security Administration as a staff attorney for an Administrative Law Judge. My job included, among other things, writing decisions for the Administrative Law Judge in Social Security Disability cases. I am a trained mediator, and was the President of a Home Health Care Agency for 9 years during which time I was also practicing law. I bring broad and solid experience to the table when I represent a client.

For much of the time since becoming licensed, my practice has included Social Security Disability, and I now practice exclusively in that area.

I am assisted in my practice by a paralegal and by a degreed registered nurse consultant. I am a member of the State Bar of Texas and the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives. I have successfully resolved hundreds of disability claims. I can help you with yours.
